Szajna started his musical life as a jazz drummer and percussionist. At 17 he started DJing on his mates pirate radio show, he later decided to move to Manchester at the age of 18, picked up sets at Sankeys, K2 and The Zoo.
Based in Manchester, Big War has been producing music for the last 4 years and DJing both in Manchester and further afield for the 3. His productions have received praise from the likes of Dummy, Vice, Southern Hospitality and rap critic deity Noz, whilst he has DJed alongside artists such as Mount Kimbie, Lone and Flako.
First out is Mørk, Generic Greeting’s resident Norwegian DJ, who has put together some of her favourite tracks, old and new, all somewhere within the broad category of house music.
Big Peace stepped up for the first hour with a mix of heavy beats and raps with Szajna chilling the whole thing out in the second half with funk and chat. MAL on the mic, of course.
