Rachel Dargavel-Leafe
Rachel Dargavel-Leafe is a illustrator and graphic designer based in Manchester.
In her design work and print making she uses simple form and bold colour. Rachel enjoys using traditional methods such as screen printing and illustration alongside modern technology and techniques.
Rachel also organises immersive, interactive exhibitions in non-gallery spaces. She is interested in how spaces influence the visitor’s experience. By repurposing buildings, Rachel encourages people to view the work in a different light.
Rachel graduated in Graphic Design from Manchester School of Art in 2013 and now works at the Whitworth Art Gallery, Waterside Arts Centre and as part of Generic Greeting Collective, as well as running her own creative studio.
